On June 23, 2022, the Expert RA rating agency confirmed the financial reliability rating of the insurance company SMP-Insurance LLC at the level of giVVB+, the rating forecast is stable. This is stated in the agency's message.
SMP-Insurance ranks 65th among insurers in terms of the total amount of contributions, taking into account incoming reinsurance for 2021, according to the Bank of Russia, and belongs to the 3rd dimensional class, according to the agency's methodology. The main activities of the company are VMI (47.5% of the premium for 2021), accident and disease insurance (28.5%) and insurance of other property of legal entities (10.5%), which indicates a moderate diversification of the insurance portfolio. As a rating support factor, the agency highlights the high financial potential of the final owners of the insurer.
The company demonstrates a high growth rate of contributions: in 2021, 19.7% more premiums were collected than in 2020.
According to Expert RA JSC, as of 31.03.2022, the insurer's assets amounted to 4.2 billion rubles, own funds – 2.5 billion rubles, authorized capital – 2.1 billion rubles. In 2021, the company collected 1.6 billion rubles of insurance premiums.
