Exports of tobacco products from Russia for 10 months of 2020 increased by 4% year-on-year to $412 million, Russia's Ministry of Agriculture informed.
Kazakhstan increased purchases by 24% to $138 million, exports to Serbia during this period increased by 37% to $72 million, supplies to Turkey grew by 66% to $27 million, exports to Belarus by 22% to $23 million.
Traditionally, the main export flow of tobacco products targets CIS countries, while supplies to non-CIS countries are also growing. In the past four years, Russia started shipments of tobacco products to the Philippines, the Seychelles, Saudi Arabia, Afghanistan, Oman, and Slovenia. Currently, Russian tobacco products are currently sold in 59 countries around the world.
