The FAS fined Alfa-Bank for distributing inappropriate advertising. This is stated in the message of the service.
The bank's online advertisement contained attractive information about the free debit card registration and receiving cashback in the amount of 5,000 bonuses.
At the same time, there was no complete information about all the conditions of the financial service: participants had to make a purchase for at least 500 rubles; only customers who did not have an Alfa-Bank debit card at the time of the promotion could count on receiving bonuses.
The agency opened a case, found the advertisement inappropriate, ordered to stop its distribution and fined the organization in accordance with the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation.
Earlier, the FAS fined Alfa-Bank for distributing inappropriate advertising. In the TV advertisement it was reported that Alfa-Bank will give 20 shares of the largest companies to each client.
In addition, the FAS of Russia recognized inappropriate advertising of the joint action of Alfa-Bank and Yandex.Food. The companies were ordered to stop violating the law on advertising.
