According to preliminary estimates, the volume of federal budget revenues in January–August 2024 amounted to 23.029 trillion rubles. This was announced by the Ministry of Finance of Russia.
Non–oil and gas revenues amounted to 15473 billion rubles, oil and gas revenues - 7555 billion rubles.
Federal budget expenditures amounted to 23.36 trillion rubles.
In general, in 2024, the volume of federal budget expenditures is formed based on the maximum size of budget allocations approved in the budget law.
Thus, the execution of the federal budget is carried out in accordance with the parameters of the primary structural deficit defined in the budget law, and operations on the use/formation of NWF funds are carried out within the framework of the "budget rule" mechanism.
