Sberbank has launched a new housing lending program "Mortgage without down payment". This is stated in the bank's message.
Under the program, clients can purchase an apartment or a residential building with land (in the primary and secondary markets) without a down payment — secured by an apartment owned.
With the help of the new program, customers can improve their living conditions without selling an existing apartment. For example, a family can move out of town, leaving an apartment in the city, or buy a new apartment for rent or for children.
The maximum loan amount is up to 100 million rubles (but not more than 80% of the cost of the apartment owned), the loan term is up to 30 years. For such a mortgage, programs with state support and programs of subsidizing the rate by developers are not applied.
According to analysts of the Domclick service, since the beginning of 2022, Sberbank has issued more than 292 thousand mortgage loans in the amount of 897 billion rubles.
