Foreign trade volumes decreased by 2.6% in January-July

The volume of foreign trade in January-July 2025 amounted to $388 billion, which is 2.6% less than in the same period of 2024. This was reported by the Federal Customs Service of Russia.

Exports amounted to $232.6 billion, imports — $155.4 billion.

Traditionally, mineral products have formed the basis of Russian exports. Their share in the commodity structure of exports amounted to 56.1%.

In the commodity structure of imports, machinery, equipment and other goods accounted for the largest share and amounted to 47.6%.

Russia's main trading partners: Asian countries (exports — $179.2 billion, imports — $103.2 billion), European countries (exports — $33.9 billion, imports — $40.4 billion), American countries (exports — $7.5 billion, imports — $9 billion), African countries (exports — $11.9 billion, imports — $2.7 billion).
