LLC EAC Group (Evraz Avia Service), registered in 2025 with Evgeny Solodilin, became the owner of three companies that were part of the Volga-Dnepr Group. Such changes have occurred in the Unified State Register of Legal Entities according to the KonturFocus information system.
The "EAC Group" has been moved away: Volga-Dnepr-Moscow LLC, Atran LLC and AK AirBridgeCargo LLC (AirBridgeCargo Airlines). The deal has not been completed yet, the shares are secured by the previous owners.
The upcoming sale became known in September 2025. Then the newspaper Kommersant reported that the former CEO of Zhukovsky Airport and Red Wings airline Evgeny Solodilin intends to buy out the entire Volga-Dnepr cargo group.
AirBridgeCargo, once Russia's largest cargo airline, suspended flights after sanctions were imposed in 2022. The carrier's fleet consisted of American Boeing aircraft. In November 2024, the Federal Air Transport Agency suspended the AirBridgeCargo operator's certificate.
According to the Kommersant newspaper, the new owner plans to return nine Boeing aircraft to lessors, the remaining foreign aircraft to flights, and the aircraft arrested abroad to the Russian Federation.
E.Solodilin headed JIA Cargo JSC (Zhukovsky International Airport Cargo) until 2022, then headed Red Wings JSC until 2024.
