Starting from March 1, 2025, new rules for interaction between tenants and market management companies (URCS) will be in effect in Russia. This was reported by the Federal Tax Service of Russia.
Potential tenants, when concluding a lease agreement for a retail space, will be required to provide documentary evidence of the presence of a CCT, and the CDC will check the availability of registered cash registers at all outlets on a monthly basis.
If the URC found violations in the tenant, a notification will be sent to him about the need to eliminate them. Within 15 working days, the tenant must eliminate them, or the URC terminates the lease agreement.
To monitor and control the use of CCT by the tenants of the URC, they can use the service of the Federal Tax Service of Russia "Information on markets and tenants", located in their personal accounts.
Failure to comply with the conditions for the control and application of CCP tenants entails a warning or an administrative fine: for officials - from 40 thousand to 50 thousand rubles (in case of repeated violation – from 50 thousand to 80 thousand rubles), for legal entities - a warning or fine from 100 thousand to 300 thousand rubles (in case of repeated violation – from 300 thousand to 1 million rubles).
