The gas infrastructure penetration in Russian regions is set to increase by more than 10% to reach 82.9% by 2030, making it possible for citizens to connect to gas supplies faster and cheaper, according to the plan for implementing a socially oriented and cost-effective gasification system approved by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, the Government of Russia informed.
The document envisages activities serving several important objectives: improving connection services, including efforts to reduce the time and cost of connection to supplies for consumers; creating favorable conditions for expanding trunk infrastructures; implementation of smart gas metering systems.
