PJSC Globaltruck Management (Globaltruck) has extended the contract with CEO Ilya Sattarov for three years, the company informed.
Ilya Sattarov who was appointed CEO of the company a year ago, in November 2019, and a new team of top managers arriving in his wake are implementing a growth strategy based on the asset-light projects and the group's phased transition to a more flexible business model assuming the development of digital solutions, own fleet efficiency improvements and accumulating expertise in new segments of the cargo carriage market.
Globaltruck is a leading FTL trucking company in the Urals and Siberia, one of the largest carriers in Russia in terms of fleet size. The group mainly provides domestic and international long-haul freight FTL transport services. Globaltruck delivers cargoes to / from the Central region of Russia to the Urals, Siberia, the Far East and the EU.
The group operates six certified maintenance and repair centers located on key routes in Magnitogorsk, Yekaterinburg, Noginsk, Novosibirsk, Perm and Omsk. Globaltruck's clients include about 1,000. In November 2017, the company floated an initial public offering (IPO) on the Moscow Exchange. As a result of the offering, Globaltruck shares were given second level listing in the Growth Sector of the Moscow Exchange under the GTRK ticker.
IFRS net loss of Globaltruck for 1H20 was RUB 22.5 million against RUB 2.3 million a year earlier. Revenue increased by 4.5% to RUB 4.7 billion from RUB 4.5 billion. Revenue from transport services (from handling activities) decreased by RUB 21.6 million (0.5%) to RUB 4.03 billion. Adjusted EBITDA was RUB 404.7 million decreasing by RUB 173 million from RUB 578 million a year earlier.
