Government approves extension of Federal target program for Crimea to 2024

The Government of Russiahas approved the extension of the federal target program "Social and economic development of the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol" until 2024, Russia's Ministry of Economic Development informed.

The document approves the targeted distribution of subsidies for the projects implemented by the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol.

The total financing for the federal target program in 2020-2024 has been increased by RUB 296.1 billion to RUB 588.2 billion.

The program is aimed at the development of the social and transport sector, including completion of the construction in Sevastopol of the oncologic dispensary diagnostic and treatment building and an emergency care hospital, construction of a municipal infectious hospital to lay foundation for an advanced medical cluster.

The program also envisages the construction and reconstruction of automobile roads, including a road bypassing Simferopol, the development of engineering infrastructure and water supply systems and other projects.
