The Government of Russia will allocate RUB 210.5 million from the reserve fund for the development of the Single State Health Information System. The related order was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

The money will be used to pay for public contracts concluded in the IT sector in 2020 to develop sub-systems of the Single State Health Information System. The system is intended to be part of a large-scale project of creating a single digital system in healthcare. In particular, a system of electronic prescriptions and automated management of preferential drug supplies are expected to be launched throughout Russia by 2024.
