JSC Halyk Bank of Kazakhstan (Almaty) became the owner of Halyk Lab LLP on November 6, 2024. This is stated in the message of the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE).
According to Forbes, Halyk Lab will provide IT services to participants in the country's financial market. At the initial stage, Halyk Bank plans to make a minimum investment in the company's authorized capital. Further investments in its capital will be considered as the company's activities develop.
The People's Bank of Kazakhstan (Halyk Bank) is the largest bank in Kazakhstan. The shareholder structure of Halyk Bank of Kazakhstan JSC (on a consolidated basis) as of July 1, 2024: ALMEX Holding Group JSC — 69.6%, GDR holders — 28.4%, others — 2%.
