In 2025, the Russian government has provided 530 billion rubles for financing the agricultural industry and rural development. This was reported in the telegram channel of the Cabinet of Ministers with reference to Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Patrushev, who spoke at a meeting of the Federation Council Committee on Agrarian and Food Policy and Environmental Management.
According to the Deputy Prime Minister, all the main support tools, including preferential loans, remain in place. 42 billion rubles were allocated before the sowing campaign. to subsidize new concessional loans, of which 34 billion are for short–term loans.
Dmitry Patrushev drew attention to the fact that it is important to shift the focus of work to the creation of unified digital platforms that should have a clear interface, be user-friendly and be able to process information from various sources.
At the same time, the Deputy Prime Minister stressed that although digitalization increases efficiency and automates routine processes, even its most active implementation still will not completely replace human labor in the agro-industrial complex.
