In August 2025, banks issued 216.58 thousand commodity loans worth 14.4 billion rubles to Russians. This was announced by the United Credit Bureau.

The number of disbursements decreased by 48% year—on-year, and the volume decreased by 46%. In August 2024, 415.28 thousand loans worth 26.51 billion rubles were issued. The average bill for a commodity loan increased by 2 thousand rubles over the year to 66 thousand rubles in August 2025 from 64 thousand rubles in August 2024. The average loan term has become shorter by 7 months.

Compared to the results of July 2025, the number of commodity loans issued in August 2025 increased by 20%, and the volume increased by 22%. In July, 181.02 thousand loans worth 11.81 billion rubles were issued. The average monthly receipt increased by 1 thousand rubles: in July it was equal to 65 thousand rubles. The average term has not changed.
