AK&M 17 January 2022 16:31 In November 2021, Rosstat recorded continued growth in industrial production in two of the five engineering sectors in annual comparison. Electronics production increased at the fastest pace, as stated in issue No. 1455 of the monthly bulletin "Branches of the Russian Economy: Production, Finance, securities. Mechanical Engineering" dated January 12, 2022.

At the same time, the total production in five machine-building industries was 3.7% higher than in November 2020. The continued growth in production and demand for industrial products is also evidenced by the adjusted PMI index of manufacturing industries in Russia, which tracks the general market situation — in December, its value was above the critical mark of 50 points for the third month in a row.

Car production in Russia in 2021 exceeded 1.5 million units, which is 10% more than in 2020. Such preliminary data were reported by the Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov. In particular, the production growth in the passenger car segment was about 8%. Sales of new vehicles on the Russian market in 2021 amounted to 1.8 million units — this is more than 6% higher than the results of 2020.

The value volume of exports of mechanical engineering products in January-October 2021 amounted to $25.87 billion, while the volume of imports of mechanical engineering products is 7.7 times higher — $198.7 billion. In annual comparison, the growth of export volumes by the end of ten months is observed in all categories, both in absolute and monetary terms. The increase in the value of exports is also recorded in monthly dynamics in machinery and equipment and trucks. Also, according to the results of October 2021, there is a significant increase in imports for all items in annual comparison. At the same time, in October, compared to September, there is a slight decrease in the physical volume of imports of electrical equipment and passenger cars.

The Yadro Group of Russian technology companies is embarking on the main phase of construction in Dubna of Russia's largest full-cycle plant for the production of radio-electronic products. The total area of the plant will be about 40 thousand sq. m., it will include workshops for the production of multilayer printed circuit boards with a potential capacity of up to 10 million square decimeters of multilayer printed circuit boards of any complexity per year, surface mounting lines and automated conveyor lines for assembly and testing of finished products, as well as a modern warehouse complex with an area of more than 3500 sq. m. The enterprise will be able to produce up to 1 million units of equipment per year, production facilities will also be available to other domestic manufacturers.
