In the Russian Federation, the average size of consumer loans in the third quarter of 2021 increased by 27.7% to 270.9 thousand rubles year-on-year. Compared to the previous quarter, the indicator decreased by 3.7%. This is stated in the NBKI message.

In September 2021, the average size of the consumer loan increased by 0.7% to 271.5 thousand rubles. compared to the previous month. The indicator grew by 35.3% year-on-year.

In the third quarter of 2021, a decrease in the average consumer credit receipt was noted in most regions compared to the previous quarter. The Republic of Tatarstan (-11%) and Bashkortostan (-9%), Nizhny Novgorod Region (-8.9%), as well as Krasnoyarsk (-8.6%) and Primorsky (-7.8%) regions demonstrated the most serious dynamics of reduction in the average size of consumer loans issued (among the 30 regions of the Russian Federation – leaders in terms of loans of this type).

In turn, in some regions, the average receipt of consumer loans, on the contrary, increased slightly, including in the Altai Territory (+1.1%) and the Rostov Region (+1.1%). In Moscow and St. Petersburg, the average size of consumer loans decreased by 1.8% and 5.2%, respectively.
