Gazprom Gas Distribution Leningrad Region has launched a medium-pressure gas pipeline in the village of Torkovichi in the Luga district and connected the first household of the village to the gas supply system as part of pre-gasification. This is stated in the company's message.
The completion of the 16.5 km long gas distribution pipeline has created conditions for the pre-gasification of 978 households in the district.
In total, 20 thousand applications were accepted from residents of the Leningrad region and contracts were concluded with more than 50% of applicants. The leaders in the number of applications submitted are Vyborg, Gatchina, Vsevolozhsky, Lomonosov and Tosnensky districts.
The Leningrad Region has increased social support measures in order to reduce the costs of residents for gasification of households, installation and purchase of gas-using equipment. So, the maximum amount of the subsidy can reach up to 300 thousand rubles.
