Inarktika has sold three smolt plants in Norway. This is stated in the company's message.

The reason for the sale of the business was regulatory restrictions of the Russian business in Norway, which could lead to liquidation risks.

"It is very important for Inarktika to keep employees at factories, therefore, in the face of the risks of liquidation of factories, we decided to sell them to management. <...> Further interaction of Inarktics with factories will be determined by several factors: regulatory sanctions (at the same time, at the level of basic concepts, food trade is removed from sanctions), voluntary sanctions, the work of international supply chains, the integration of factories into the activities of Inarktics. The acquired fry plants in the Kaluga Region and the plant under construction in Karelia will allow the Company to carry out a continuous production cycle," said Ilya Sosnov, CEO of the company, whose words are quoted in the message.

PJSC Inarktika (TIN 7816430057; previously: Russian Russian Aquaculture PJSC, until February 18, 2015 - the Russian Sea Group of Companies) is the group's management company, leading in the segment of Atlantic salmon and trout production in Russia.

The key activities of the group under the management of the company include: commercial cultivation of Atlantic salmon and sea trout in the Barents Sea in the Murmansk region; commercial cultivation of trout in the lakes of the Republic of Karelia.

Currently, the group under the management of the company owns the rights to 35 plots for salmon and trout cultivation. The total volume of potential cultivation in these areas is about 50 thousand tons of red fish.
