The number of individuals having brokerage accounts on the Moscow Exchange increased by 565.1 thousand to 12.2 million in May, the exchange informed.
In May, individuals invested RUB 32 billion in Russian stocks, RUB 59.8 billion in bonds, and RUB 8.4 billion in exchange-traded funds and mutual funds on the Moscow Exchange.
The number of opened individual investment accounts exceeded 4 million at the end of May.
