Inflation for the week, from January 15 to January 21, was 0.22%, from the beginning of January – 0.88%. This was reported by Rosstat.

From January 15 to January 21, prices increased: margarine, cottage cheese, pasta and vermicelli – by 0.7%, canned meat for baby food, pasteurized milk, butter, rennet cheeses – by 0.6%, sausages, sausages, sterilized milk, rice, canned vegetables for baby food – by 0.5%, lamb, sour cream, lunches in the dining room, cafe, snack bar (except for the dining room in the organization) – by 0.4%, beef, flour wheat, vodka and salt – by 0.3%, semi-smoked and boiled–smoked sausages, frozen fish, wheat bread – by 0.2%, boiled sausages, milk powder mixtures for baby food - by 0.1%.

Prices for granulated sugar on average in Russia increased by 0.7%. Prices for buckwheat on average in Russia increased by 0.7%. Sunflower oil on average in Russia rose by 0.1%. Prices for fruit and vegetable products increased by 0.9% on average. Chicken eggs on average in the country have become cheaper by 1.3%.

Prices for automobile gasoline increased by 0.1%, diesel fuel - by 0.4%. The average cost of vacation trips to Turkey increased by 2.4%, vouchers to sanatoriums – by 0.6%, rest homes and boarding houses, accommodation in 3* hotels - by 0.5%. The rent for housing in the houses of the state and municipal housing funds increased by 0.8% on average, heating - by 0.1%. City bus fares increased by 0.2% on average, tram and trolleybus fares by 0.1%. At the same time, the cost of living in 1*-2* hotels and motels decreased by 0.1-0.2%.
