Inflation for the week, from May 7 to May 13, 2022, amounted to 0.05%, from the beginning of May – 0.15%, from the beginning of the year – 11.84%. This was reported by Rosstat.
During the period from May 7 to May 13, prices increased: milk powder mixes for baby food and cookies – by 0.9%, rennet cheeses, rice, table salt – by 0.8%, cottage cheese, sunflower oil, canned vegetables and fruit and berry for baby food - by 0.5%, semi–smoked and boiled sausagessmoked, wheat flour, vermicelli – by 0.4%, beef, pasteurized milk, sour cream, buckwheat, pasta, black tea and chocolate candies – by 0.3%, sausages, sausages, canned meat for baby food, sterilized milk, butter, bread, lunches in the dining room, cafe, snack bar (in addition to the canteen in the organization) – by 0.2%, lamb, boiled sausages, millet, vodka – by 0.1%. Prices for granulated sugar decreased by 0.5%, pork and chicken meat - by 0.1%.
Margarine prices on average in Russia increased by 1.4%. Prices for chicken eggs on average in the country decreased by 2.8%. Fruit and vegetable products fell by 0.3% on average.
In the group of observed medications, levomecol fell in price by 2.5%, allohol – by 0.5%, corvalol, multivitamins – by 0.4%, rengalin – by 0.3%, metamizole sodium (domestic analgin) – by 0.2%. Validol prices increased by 0.1%.
Of the individual types of non–food necessities, the prices have risen: toothbrushes – by 1.4%, toilet soap – by 1.3%, toothpastes and matches – by 0.9%, sanitary pads – by 0.7%, toilet paper - by 0.6%, diapers for newborns – by 0.5%, household soap – by 0.4%., baby diapers – by 0.1%. Prices for washing powders decreased by 0.2%.
Of the other non–food products, prices increased: shampoos – by 0.9%, women's tights – by 0.8%, men's socks - by 0.2%, T-shirts, men's T-shirts and cigarettes with a filter – by 0.1%.
Prices for televisions and electric vacuum cleaners decreased by 1%, chipboard, oriented chipboard - by 0.9%, smartphones – by 0.6%, sneakers for adults – by 0.3%, T–shirts and sneakers for children – by 0.1%.
The prices of automobile gasoline and diesel fuel have not changed. The average cost of vouchers to sanatoriums increased by 0.8%, hotel stays 4*-5* – by 0.6%, vouchers to holiday homes and boarding houses, as well as accommodation in 3* hotels – by 0.3%, 2* hotels and hostels – by 0.2%. Prices for accommodation in 1* hotels and motels decreased by 0.1%. City bus fares increased by 0.2% on average in Russia. The cost of flying in the economy class cabin of the aircraft decreased by 0.9%.
