Inflation in Russia for the week from September 3 to September 9, 2024, amounted to 0.09%, from the beginning of September — 0.08%, from the beginning of the year — 5.35%. This was reported by Rosstat.
During the specified week, sour cream prices increased by 1.1%, pasteurized milk and butter — by 1%, sterilized milk — by 0.8%.
There was a decrease in prices for fruit and vegetable products — by 1.7%, including white cabbage — by 5.6%, carrots — by 3.8%. Cucumber prices increased by 1.3%.
Prices for granulated sugar decreased by 0.6%, margarine by 0.4%.
Among the observed medicines, the price increase was: for allohol and multivitamins — 0.7%, combined analgesics — 0.4%, corvalol — 0.2%.
Of the individual types of non—food necessities, prices have increased: toilet paper — by 0.6%, matches and washing powders - by 0.2%. Prices for toothpastes decreased by 0.4%.
Prices for smartphones increased by 0.8%, women's tights — by 0.3%. Prices for electric vacuum cleaners decreased by 0.6%, sneakers for children — by 0.2%.
Prices for vouchers to holiday homes and boarding houses increased by 0.4%. The cost of housing fees in houses of state and municipal housing funds increased by 0.1%. On average, the cost of an economy class flight in Russia decreased by 0.2%.
