Deflation in Russia for the week from September 13 to 19 was 0.03%, from the beginning of September – 0.15%. Inflation since the beginning of the year was 10.23%. This was reported by Rosstat.
For the period from 13 to 19 September. prices decreased: buckwheat groats – by 1.3%, granulated sugar – by 1.2%, chicken meat, margarine, black tea, millet – by 0.4%, semi-smoked and boiled-smoked sausages, canned vegetables for baby food, table salt – by 0.3%, pork, sour cream, cottage cheese, mixtures milk powder for baby food, rice – by 0.2%, sunflower oil, vermicelli, pasta – by 0.1%.
Prices for buckwheat groats in 64 regions of the Russian Federation decreased by 0.1-5.6%. Granulated sugar in 67 regions of the Russian Federation fell by 0.1-6%. Chicken eggs in 59 regions of the Russian Federation have become more expensive by 0.1-4.8%. Onion prices in 58 regions of the Russian Federation decreased by 0.3-10%. Carrots in 64 regions of the Russian Federation fell by 0.3-9%. Prices for cucumbers in 32 regions of the Russian Federation increased by 0.3-10%.
In the group of observed medications, prices increased: for ergoferon – by 1.2%, levomecol – by 0.7%.
Of the individual types of non–food necessities, the prices have risen: matches, toilet soap, sanitary pads – by 0.3%, toilet paper, toothbrushes, diapers for newborns, dry pet food - by 0.2%.
Prices for electric vacuum cleaners increased by 0.9%, jeans for children – by 0.3%, cigarettes with a filter – by 0.2%, tracksuits for children, T–shirts, men's T-shirts, shampoos - by 0.1%.
Prices for automobile gasoline and diesel fuel increased by 0.1%. The cost of flying in the economy class cabin of the aircraft decreased by 1.7%. The average cost of living in hostels decreased by 0.8%, hotels 4*-5* – by 0.6%, vouchers to sanatoriums, rest homes and boarding houses, as well as accommodation in 1* hotels, motels – by 0.1%. The cost of accommodation in 2*-3* hotels increased by 0.1%. Fares on trams and trolleybuses increased by 0.4% on average in Russia, and by 0.1% on city buses.
