Inflation in the Russian Federation in March 2026 was 0.6%. Food products became more expensive by 0.38% in March, including prices for fruit and vegetable products increased by 0.03%. Non–food products rose in price by 0.47%, services - by 1.07%. This is reported in the materials of Rosstat.
Sweet peppers rose in price by 20%, tomatoes - by 17%, carrots – by 12.9%, grapes – by 8.3%, white cabbage – by 6.3%, potatoes – by 5.4%, bananas – by 3.9%. Prices for cucumbers decreased by 29.1%, oranges – by 5.8%. Prices for millet increased by 1%, semolina and rye bread – by 0.9%, wheat bread and bakery products – by 0.8%. Rice prices decreased by 0.9%. Chicken meat fell in price by 2%, boneless pork – by 0.7%.
