Consumer prices in the Russian Federation for the week, from May 16 to May 22, increased by 0.04%, from the beginning of May – by 0.13%, from the beginning of the year – by 2.19%. this was reported by Rosstat.
From May 16 to May 22, prices increased: chicken meat - by 1.8%, granulated sugar - by 1.6%, semi-smoked and boiled-smoked sausages, black tea - by 0.6%, boiled sausages and vermicelli - by 0.5%, sausages, sausages, canned vegetables for baby food, table salt - by 0.3%.
Prices for fruit and vegetable products decreased by 1.5% on average. Including cucumbers fell by 11.8%, tomatoes – by 7.3%, bananas – by 1.3%.
Prices for white cabbage increased by 15.1%, carrots - by 5.1%, table beets - by 2.5%, potatoes - by 2.4%, apples - by 0.9%, onions - by 0.4%.
