Inflation in the Russian Federation since the beginning of the year amounted to 5.87%

Consumer prices in Russia increased by 0.14% in the week from October 1 to October 7, and by 5.87% since the beginning of the year. This was reported by Rosstat.

From October 1 to October 7, butter rose in price by 1.6%, pasteurized milk – by 1%, sour cream – by 0.8%, hard, semi–hard and soft cheeses – by 0.7%, cottage cheese and rye bread - by 0.6%, wheat bread – by 0.5%, boiled sausages, sausages, sausages, milk sterilized, sunflower oil and table salt – by 0.4%, beef, lamb, canned meat and milk powder mixtures for baby food, buckwheat and millet – by 0.3%.

Prices for fruit and vegetable products decreased by 1.2%. At the same time, bananas rose in price by 0.7%, cucumbers – by 0.5%.

Granulated sugar fell by 0.9%, chicken meat – by 0.4%, canned vegetables for baby food – by 0.3%, pork – by 0.2%, pasta and noodles – by 0.1%.

Prices for motor gasoline and diesel fuel increased by 0.1%. Passenger cars of foreign brands became more expensive by 0.6%, televisions – by 0.2%, cigarettes with a filter – by 0.1%. Electric vacuum cleaners became cheaper by 0.4%, smartphones – by 0.3%.
