Currently, a group of key players, including rating agencies, has formed in the market of providers of services for verifying ESG tools and preparing requested ratings in the field of sustainable development.: Expert RA, ACRA, AK&M, NRA, RAEX-Analytics and NCR. This is reported in the Infragrin report "ESG, Decarbonization and Green Finance in Russia 2024/25".
Initially, by the end of 2024, 16 rating organizations were included in the list of Infrastructure impact ranking facilities, which claim to provide services for verifying sustainable development financing instruments, as well as assigning requested ESG ratings and preparing rankings. Rating organizations include rating agencies, auditing, evaluation, and consulting companies.
However, according to the results of the assessment for compliance with the methodology of the Infragrin expert analytical platform, only 6 rating organizations remained in the database for impact ranking calculations.
The Center for Competence and Green Expertise "Infragrin" annually calculates the impact ranking of rating organizations of INFRAGRIN_RO is designed to evaluate and rank the contribution of rating organizations to the process of ESG transformation of the Russian economy.
The purpose of impact ranking is to strengthen the confidence of stakeholders in the Russian sustainable development infrastructure, rating organizations, their assessments and products.
