Ingosstrakh has paid RUB 33 million in insurance compensation in connection with the rough landing of a Robinson R66 helicopter operated by AltaiAvia, the insurance company informed.
The insured event occurred on August 4, 2020, when the helicopter was caught in an anabatic air current during a flight. No one was injured as a result of the event. The damage to the helicopter was classified as constructive total loss. Ingosstrakh recognized the crash as an insured event and paid the insurance compensation.
