The Italian energy company Plenitude is expanding its presence in Spain as part of the Caparacena project in Jimeneas, Granada. This is reported in a press release from Eni.
The Caparacena project includes the creation of three photovoltaic parks with a capacity of up to 320 GWh of electricity per year and is aimed at strengthening Plenitude's position in Spanish Andalusia. In Seville, the company operates the Guillena photovoltaic plant with a capacity of 230 MW. Additionally, Plenitude continues to build an additional 200 MW as part of the Entrenúcleos project to develop Spain's renewable energy sector.
Plenitude is a subsidiary of the Italian energy company Eni in the field of environmentally friendly technologies, renewable energy and electricity sales. The company serves 10 million customers in 15 countries and operates a network of 22,000 charging stations for electric vehicles. By 2028, Plenitude plans to reach a capacity of 10 GW.
