The plant "Modern Forging Technologies" ("SKT"), part of Konar, has launched the production of forgings up to 12 m long and weighing up to 15 tons in Chelyabinsk. The company also increased its total production capacity by 45% to 7.8 thousand tons per year. This was reported by the FRP.
Investments in the purchase of equipment exceeded 350 million rubles. Of these, 211 million rubles. The FRP provided in the form of a preferential loan under the "Component Parts" program.
The forgings produced are shafts and plates of constant or variable cross-section. Ingots weighing up to 25 tons from various grades of steel are used for their production. The supplier of raw materials is the foundry "BVK" of the Konar group.
The final products manufactured from forgings are designed to work under high pressure, impact loads, at extreme temperatures and in chemically aggressive environments. The products are used in the manufacture of mining, lifting, pressing, petrochemical, compressor and power equipment.
JSC "Konar" is engaged in the processing of metal products. The Konar foundry and blacksmithing division unites two enterprises of the steelmaking and blacksmithing directions of the industrial group. The division includes the BVK Steel mill and the Modern Forging Technologies (SKT) enterprise.
