LADA's export sales in 2025 reached 23,000 vehicles, which is 31% more than in 2024. Thus, exports account for about 6% of the total shipments, AVTOVAZ said.
Sales of cars sold through the official LADA dealer network in Russia amounted to 351.39 thousand (LADA and XCITE). The company's market share was 25%. The sales leader is LADA Granta (144.35 thousand passenger cars and 4,636 thousand commercial vehicles). LADA Vesta is in second place (75,099 thousand).
At the end of the year, 324,558 thousand LADA cars were produced. During the year, several new models and modifications were launched: the LADA Iskra family, LADA NIVA Sport, LADA Granta Active Cross and the updated LADA NIVA Travel with a 1.8 L engine.
AVTOVAZ plans to produce 400,000 vehicles in 2026. This number will include LADA Azimut, a new crossover based on a fully Russian localized platform.
The final tests of the LADA Azimut and the preparation of its production are currently underway. To this end, 43 modernization works were carried out during the New Year holidays in the welding and assembly shops, as well as in the production of engines. In the first months of 2026, it is planned to produce a batch of pre-production vehicles, which will be assembled on the main assembly line.
During 2026, each LADA family will evolve through the introduction of new systems and options. LADA NIVA Legend SUVs will receive a new 1.8 l engine. The powertrain update is also planned for the LADA Vesta family: the 1.8 L and 1.6 L engines will be upgraded (the updated "junior" engine will also receive LADA Iskra). In addition, it is planned to resume production of the LADA Vesta Sport, also with a new powertrain — a 1.8-liter engine and a 6-speed manual transmission. The line of commercial models is planned to be strengthened by the withdrawal of the SKM brand.
