Loading on the MZhD decreased by 15.5% in January-November%

Loading on the Moscow Railway in January-November 2025 decreased by 15.5% to 51 million tons compared to a year earlier. This is stated in the company's message.

Cargo turnover decreased by 13.3% and amounted to 80.4 billion tariff tonne-kilometers.

Including the loading of oil and petroleum products fell by 19.1% to 10.1 million tons, grain — by 57.6% to 1.8 million tons. Loading of chemical and mineral fertilizers increased by 12.4% to 5.9 million tons.

Recall that loading on the Russian Railways network in January-November 2025 fell by 5.6% to 1.02 billion tons compared to a year earlier. 

The Moscow Railway is a branch of Russian Railways. It serves 10 subjects of the Russian Federation, including Moscow, Moscow, Kaluga, Tula, Oryol, Kursk, Ryazan, Smolensk, Bryansk and partly Vladimir region.

JSC "Russian Railways" (TIN 7708503727) was established on October 1, 2003 on the basis of the Ministry of Railways. The state owns 100% of the company's shares.

The net profit of Russian Railways for 9 months of 2025 according to IFRS amounted to 24.9 billion rubles. EBITDA increased by 13.7% to 808.1 billion rubles. The total revenues of the holding increased by 10.6% to RUB 2,706.3 billion. Operating expenses amounted to 2272.8 billion rubles.
