Loading on the Russian Railways network in January-July 2026 fell by 0.8% to 641.1 million tons compared to a year earlier. This is stated in the company's message.

In particular, the loading and dispatch of coal increased by 2.6% to 193.2 million tons, grain — by 53.3% to 17.8 million tons. Loading and shipping of oil and petroleum products fell by 6.8% to 107.9 million tons.

Cargo turnover increased by 0.3% and amounted to 1.454 trillion tariff tonne-kilometers.

Loading on the network in July 2026 amounted to 92.2 million tons, which is 0.1% more than in the same period of 2025. Cargo turnover increased by 6.5% and amounted to 211.5 billion tariff tonne-kilometers.

JSC "Russian Railways" (TIN 7708503727) was established on October 1, 2003 on the basis of the Ministry of Railways. The state owns 100% of the company's shares.

Russian Railways' RAS net profit for 2025 increased by 1.4% to 14.1 billion rubles from 13.8 billion rubles a year earlier. EBITDA amounted to 984.2 billion rubles with an increase of 16.3%.

Russian Railways' financial expenses in 2025 amounted to 534.1 billion rubles, which is why net profit for 2025 under IFRS decreased to 2.3 billion rubles from 50.7 billion rubles in 2024. Revenue from passenger transportation increased by 13% to RUB 473.1 billion.

According to RA AK&M, by the end of 2024, Russian Railways is among the leaders in the social efficiency rating of the largest Russian companies.
