Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin announced non-working days in the capital from October 28 to November 7. The situation in Moscow continues to develop according to the worst scenario. In the coming days, the capital will reach historical peaks in the incidence of COVID, the mayor of the capital said on his website.

From October 28 to November 7, the work of all enterprises and organizations in Moscow should be suspended, with the exception of organizations that ensure the functioning of urban infrastructure, continuous cycle enterprises and some others whose activities cannot be terminated in accordance with the decree of the President of the Russian Federation, the message emphasizes.

In particular, the work of enterprises and organizations in the sphere of trade, services, catering, sports, culture, recreation, entertainment, film screenings and others is suspended, with the exception of the sale of medicines, food and other essential goods. The sale of goods and the provision of services by remote means is not limited.

Restaurants and cafes can work for takeaway and delivery of ready meals. The work of corporate catering enterprises and restaurants in hotels is not limited, provided that there is no access to them by unauthorized persons.

The provision of public services in the "My Documents" centers and the premises of the Moscow city authorities is suspended, with the exception of urgent civil registration services. The provision of public services in electronic form remains in full.

Holidays are announced in kindergartens and schools. The work of additional education organizations, sports schools, children's clubs and sections is suspended. For preschoolers who have no one to leave at home with, the work of duty groups will be organized in city kindergartens.

Higher and secondary vocational educational institutions can conduct classes exclusively in remote mode.

Medical organizations will continue to provide planned medical care. Emergency medical care is maintained in full.

It is prohibited to hold mass cultural, entertainment, sports, advertising, entertainment and other events, with the exception of events held by decision of state authorities, or in coordination with the Department of Rospotrebnadzor in Moscow.
