The Ministry of Finance has prepared a draft decree of the Government of the Russian Federation, according to which metallurgical companies will be granted a deferral in the payment of excise taxes on liquid steel and mineral extraction tax on iron ore. This is reported on the ministry's website.
According to the draft, the deadlines for paying the excise tax on liquid steel and the mining tax on iron ore will be postponed to December 1, 2025.
The need for this decision was revealed during the analysis of the financial condition of enterprises and the current law enforcement practice, the Ministry of Finance emphasizes.
