There is a decline in certain industries, but the Russian Federation is nowhere near the critical mark. On the contrary, there is an acceleration of growth rates in electronics, pharmaceuticals, and many other industries. This was stated by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin at the strategic session of Innoprom-2022, according to a transcript posted on the website of the Cabinet of Ministers.
In general, the Russian industry has demonstrated resilience and confirmed its ability to adapt quickly to new challenges. In five months, the volume of industrial production has grown by almost 3% in annual terms, M. Mishustin stressed.
The economy, according to him, remains in the green zone. GDP growth in January – May of this year, according to the Ministry of Economic Development, amounted to about 0.5%.
