Ministry of Ecology: attempts to form illegal landfills in Naro-Fominsk and Solnechnogorsk have been stopped

Two violations of the waste management rules were stopped by the inspectors of the environmental supervision of the Ministry of Ecology of the Moscow region. One of the illegal landfills was eliminated already during the control and supervision event. This is stated in the message of the ministry.

"In the city of Aprelevka, Naro-Fominsk district, a citizen illegally placed felling residues and other wood waste in the open ground," said Tikhon Firsov, Minister of Ecology and Nature Management of the Moscow Region, quoted in the message. – Our inspectors held an explanatory conversation with the violator, after which he voluntarily eliminated the piles of garbage."

The head of the Ministry of Ecology added that the work on the formation of a second illegal landfill was stopped near the village of Poyarkovo, Solnechnogorsk city district. Police officers had to be called to the place, who detained two cars from which waste was dumped. Specialists of an accredited laboratory will conduct research to calculate the amount of damage caused to the environment.

T. Firsov also recalled that this is not the first case of the formation of a large illegal dump near the village of Poyarkovo. Earlier, the St. Petersburg company Event was punished for illegal waste disposal here, according to a court decision, the amount of damage caused was recovered from it - more than 17 million rubles.
