From April 7 to May 7, 2021, Russia's Ministry of Finance will purchase foreign currency for a total amount of 8.4 billion per day. A total of RUB 185.7 billion will be allocated for the purchase of foreign currency during this period, the Ministry informed.
From March 5 to April 6, 2021, Russia's Ministry of Finance will daily spend RUB 6.6 billion on foreign currency purchases. A total of RUB 148.1 billion is allocated for the purchase of foreign currency in March, the Ministry informed. Therefore, purchases of foreign currency will increase by 25% from April 7 to May 7.
Additional oil and gas revenues attributable to the federal budget resulting from the actual oil price being above the base level is projected at RUB 212.6 billion in April 2021.
