More than 1,000 base stations will be installed in Russia in 2021 to provide small communities with Internet access services, Russia's the Ministry of Finance informed referring to a statement by Dmitry Chernyshenko, Deputy Chairman of the Government of Russia.
383 base stations will be installed in localities with a population of 100 to 249 people, 794 in localities with 250-500 residents.
