The mortgage portfolio on the balance sheet of Russian banks increased by 0.7% in June 2025 after a 0.6% increase in May. This is reported in the materials of the Bank of Russia.
The volume of mortgage loans increased to 309 billion rubles. The main volume of loans, 85%, is still issued under government programs, in particular, the "Family mortgage" accounted for 222 billion rubles in June after 209 billion rubles in May. The issue of market mortgages amounted to 44 billion rubles.
At the end of June, the average rate for market programs was 24.9%, having decreased by 1.7 percentage points compared to the end of May.
