Moscow medical institutions have received about 365 thousand packages of medicines under the first offset contract since the beginning of the year. It was concluded with the company "Biocad" in 2017. This was reported by the Moscow City Hall.
The city has signed an offset contract with the company for the supply of 29 drugs. "Biocad" has localized production in Zelenograd for this purpose. The capital will purchase medicines from the company for 7 years. In general, enterprises have delivered 1 million packages of medicines to medical institutions since 2021. The same amount was sent to hospitals in various regions of the country.
Vladislav Ovchinsky, Minister of the Moscow Government, head of the capital's Department of Investment and Industrial Policy, noted that pharmaceutical plants built under offset contracts will produce more than 100 international nonproprietary names of drugs.
JSC "Biocad" was established in 2001. The company is a resident of the Technopolis Moscow Special economic Zone and is engaged in research, development, production and distribution of pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical products.
Technopolis Moscow SEZ is a territory with a special legal status, where there is a preferential business regime for investors. The area of five sites ("Printers", "Alabushevo", "Micron", MIET, "Angstrom"), where high-tech enterprises of the SEZ are located, exceeds 223 hectares. The total area of production buildings is more than 500 thousand sq. m. the volume of investments of companies that have localized production in the SEZ of the capital exceeds 80 billion rubles.
