MRIF acquires 5.8156% stake in Enel Russia

MRIF Cyprus Investments 3 Limited has acquired a 5.8156% stake in PJSC Enel Russia, the company informed.

The ownership change occurred on July 29.

PJSC Enel Russia is a generating company and a key asset of Enel Group in Russia. The total installed capacity of the Company is 5,628.7 MW of electricity, 2,032 Gcal/h of heat energy.

Enel Russia is active in five regions: Tver region (Konakovskaya GRES), Stavropol krai (Nevinnomysskaya GRES and a new Rodnikovsky wind farm construction project), Sverdlovsk region (Sredneuralskaya GRES), Murmansk region (Kolskaya wind farm, currently under construction), Rostov region (Azovskaya WPP, currently under construction).

The authorized capital of PJSC Enel Russia is RUB 35,371,898,370. It consists of the same number of common shares with a face value of 1 ruble.

The company was registered in Yekaterinburg on October 27, 2004 under the name of OJSC OGK-5. On July 7, 2009, the company was renamed as OJSC Enel OGK-5 by decision of the shareholders at their annual general meeting; on August 8, 2014, the Federal Tax Agency's Inspectorate registered a new version of the company's charter specifying Enel Russia as the corporate name. On June 25, 2015, the company changed its legal form to PJSC Enel Russia.

RAS net profit of Enel Russia for Q1 2020 dropped twice to RUB 1.264 billion from RUB 2.576 billion a year earlier. Revenue decreased by 0.5% to RUB 19.091 billion from RUB 19.18 billion, gross profit 1.6 times to RUB 2.645 billion from RUB 4.243 billion. Pre-tax profit decreased to RUB 1.609 billion from RUB 3.239 billion.
