MTS Web Services (MWS, part of the MTS Group) has expanded its range of services in the field of information security. It includes the encryption service of communication channels GOST VPN from MTS RED. The solution allows companies to protect data when it is transmitted over the network using certified cryptographic information security tools (SCSI), and will also help to comply with legal requirements. GOST VPN from MTS RED ensures the confidentiality and integrity of data when they are sent over open communication channels. Data encryption equipment is installed at the points between which information is planned to be transmitted. MTS specialists set up SCSI, routing, broadcasting, tunneling and traffic filtering. As part of the provision of the service, round-the-clock monitoring of equipment and timely delivery and change of encryption keys are also carried out.

MTS Group's revenue for the first quarter of 2024 increased by 17.4% to RUB 161.3 billion from RUB 137.4 billion a year earlier. OIBDA increased by 4.8% to 59.1 billion rubles from 56.5 billion rubles, operating profit increased by 16.3% to 33.2 billion rubles from 28.5 billion rubles. The profit attributable to the company's shareholders amounted to 39.5 billion rubles against 12.7 billion rubles (+210.9%).
