Naiada LLC reimbursed more than 11.2 million rubles for the pollution of the Sakhalin Island tanker. This is stated in the message of Rosprirodnadzor.
Earlier, Rosprirodnadzor inspectors discovered a spill of petroleum products in the bay of Rakovaya in Avacha Bay. Pollution was detected at the moored tanker Sakhalin Island. The spill area was about 100 square meters. m. Experts conducted an inspection, took samples and confirmed the fact of contamination of the water body with petroleum products. The owner of the vessel is the Naiad company; a request for voluntary compensation was sent to her, which was fulfilled in full.
