NBKI: the average size of the limit on issued credit cards in August increased to 74 thousand rubles

The average size of the limit on credit cards issued in August 2022 increased by 7.9% compared to July, and by 9.3% compared to August 2021, to 74 thousand rubles. At the same time, the limit decreased by 2.1% compared to the "pre-sanction" February. This is reported by NBKI.

In August 2022, the largest average limit on issued credit cards in the regions of the Russian Federation was noted in Moscow (111.4 thousand rubles), St. Petersburg (95.9 thousand rubles), the Moscow Region (91.8 thousand rubles), Khanty-Mansiysk JSC (88.3 thousand rubles), as well as in the Leningrad Region (79.6 thousand rubles). An increase in the average size of the credit card limit was noted in almost all Russian regions.
