Net profit X5 under IFRS for 9 months increased by 30.7%

X5 retail's net profit under IFRS (IFRS 16) for 9 months of 2021 increased by 30.7% to RUB 34.78 billion from RUB 26.6 billion a year earlier. Revenue increased by 10.2% to 1.6 trillion rubles from 1.45 trillion rubles, gross profit - by 12.4% to 411.8 billion rubles from 366.5 billion rubles, EBITDA – by 8.5% to 200.75 billion rubles from 184.97 billion rubles. This was announced by the company.

X5 Retail Group N.V. is Russia's largest food retail company in terms of sales. The company operates stores in several formats: "soft" discounters under the Pyaterochka brand, supermarkets under the Perekrestok brand, hypermarkets under the Karusel brand, as well as "at home" stores under various brands. On May 18, 2006, Pyaterochka and Perekrestok merged to create a leading company in the Russian grocery retail market. On June 26, 2008, X5 completed the acquisition of the Karusel hypermarket chain. In 2010, the company acquired a network of discounters "Kopeyka".
