Experts of Russia's Main Department of State Expertise (Glavgosexpertiza of Russia, the state expert appraisal body) have reviewed the re-submitted design documentation and the results of engineering surveys for the construction of a new airport in Tobolsk. A positive opinion was issued as a result of the review, the appraisal department informed.
The new airport construction is a joint project of the Government of Tyumen region and SIBUR. The launch of the airport in Tobolsk is expected to increase the tourist and investment appeal of the city.
