New truck lanes have been opened at the Yarag-Kazmalyar checkpoint. Since December 7, five additional lanes of freight vehicles have been put into operation at the Yarag-Kazmalyar checkpoint on the border with Azerbaijan. They are used both for departure and entry. This is reported by the FCS of Russia.
The Yarag-Kazmalyar checkpoint is the busiest on the Russian-Azerbaijani section of the border and actually operates with a 1.5-fold excess of the design capacity, and 2-fold during peak periods.
