The ultimate controlling shareholder of Acron Group has not changed. A change in the shareholding of PJSC Acron occurred in November 2020, as follows from the group's reporting materials.
JSC Acronagroservice increased its stake to 55% from 23.27% by acquiring a stake from its parent company Redbrick Investment S.a.r.l. (Luxembourg) which has therefore reduced the direct interest in PJSC Acron to 30.98% from 62.71%.
Acron Group is a leading vertically-integrated producers of mineral fertilizers in Russia and worldwide. The Group's chemical production facilities are located in Veliky Novgorod (PJSC Acron) and Smolensk region (PJSC Dorogobuzh). The group is engaged in the own production of phosphate raw materials in Murmansk region (JSC NWPC) and intends to implement a potassium deposit development project in Perm Krai (JSC Verkhnekamsk Potash Company). Also, Acron Group has own transport and logistics infrastructure and sales networks in Russia and China. Acron's subsidiary North Atlantic Potash Inc. (NAP) owns permissions for geological prospecting at 10 sites of the Prairie Evaporate potassium salt deposit in the Saskatchewan province (Canada). Acron also owns a minority 19.8% stake in Poland's Grupa Azoty, one of the biggest producers of chemicals in Europe.
In 2019, the group sold 7.6 million tonnes of core products, shipments were made to 78 countries around the world. The group's key markets are Russia, Brazil, Europe and the United States. Acron's consolidated IFRS revenue for 2019 was RUB 114.835 billion ($1.77 billion), net profit was RUB 24.786 billion ($383 million).
